Pinckneyville IL-May 17, 2018: Ms. Fulk’s 5th grade class at Community Consolidated District 204 were recognized for their completion and graduation from Murphy-Wall State Bank’s EverFi Vault Program. It is a web-based financial education course designed to provide students with the critical knowledge and skills needed to make smart financial decisions. Murphy-Wall State Bank has partnered with leading education technology company EverFi, Inc., to bring this interactive, web-based financial education program to District 204, at no cost to the school or taxpayers.
Students at District 204 received certificates for their outstanding work and completion of the program. The event featured remarks from the students and Murphy-Wall State Bank VP Claudia Choate lead a game of Jeopardy with categories from the Vault Program that proved to be very competitive. As a bonus for the students, they each received a gift card for an ice cream cone.

The Vault Program is administered by teachers in a classroom setting, the online course features an interactive, new-media learning platform specifically designed to introduce financial literacy skills early in a child’s development. The 2.5-hour curriculum aligns with both state and national standards, and includes topics such as saving, budgeting, responsibility and decision-making, credit and debt, careers, income, charity, and more.
