Murphy-Wall State Bank Donates to the Perry County Humane Society
The Perry County Humane Society has been named as a recipient of a $1,000.00 donation raised through Murphy-Wall State Bank’s 2018 Jean Day program. Murphy Wall State Bank President Marty Davis, Elkville Branch Manager Julie Briley, and Chelsea Wallace, teller services, are pictured presenting a check to Humane Society Secretary Dawn Kiefer and her furry friends, Rebel the dog and Noel the cat.
The Perry County Humane Society is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, no-kill animal rescue, with the purpose of promoting and providing the humane care and treatment of domestic animals in Perry County, Illinois.
Murphy-Wall employees wishing to wear jeans on Fridays during the year may do so when they elect to authorize a payroll deduction of a certain amount each pay period. At the end of the year, a portion of the funds go back to designated charitable organizations. This year, along with the Perry County Humane Society, the Elkville Volunteer Fire Department was also a $1,000.00 recipient.
