Murphy-Wall State Bank Donates to Murphy Men’s Basketball Program
Murphy-Wall State Bank and Trust Company recently donated $1,000 to the Men’s Basketball Program at Murphysboro High School for summer activities. Because of this donation, area youth were able to go to camp and participate in games this summer.
Coach Matt Brooks, who is also a Murphy-Wall AVP Lending Officer, mentioned, “Summer camp consists of IHSA allowed contact days, of which we take teams to Rib City Shootout in Dexter, Missouri for 2 days. We stay in a hotel; teams have meals together and play 7 games in 2 days. Summer games consist also of traveling to local towns, Pinckneyville, Benton, Marion for multiple games each day.”
