December Student of the Month Jessie Pyatt
The December Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month is Jessie Pyatt. Her extra-curricular activities include band, chorus, Beta Club, 4-H Blue Ribbon Go Getters, 4-H Federation, Music Makers, Soccer, Archery and Gymnastics. Jessie has applied to Harvard College and hopes to attend in Fall 2022 to obtain a biology degree, studying in the Animal Sciences Department, then plans to become a zoological veterinarian. Pyatt is pictured receiving her certificate from Murphy-Wall VP / Admin Assistant Monika Holder.
About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month honor at the beginning of the school year. Students were asked to submit up to a 500 word essay in application of this honor. Out of eighteen applicants, nine students were selected by a committee of three anonymous members from outside the community. These nine students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. One of these nine students will receive the honor of Student of the Year and $1000.
