Murphy-Wall State Bank Announces Livia Queen as the September 2022 Student of the Month
The Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month for September is Livia Queen. After high school, Livia plans on finishing her general education at Rend Lake College then transferring to Southern Illinois University Carbondale where she will pursue a major in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. Livia’s current extracurricular activities include PCHS Poms, Student Council Vice President, Beta Club, and MAPPS. She is pictured receiving her certificate from Murphy-Wall EVP/Operations Manager Brian Chandler.
About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month honor at the beginning of the school year. Students were asked to submit up to a 500-word essay in application of this honor. Out of twenty-six applicants, twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. One of these twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Year and a $1000 scholarship. View Previous Student of the Month Seniors.
