Murphy-Wall State Bank Announces Emily Ruppert as the October 2022 Student of the Month
Murphy-Wall State Bank would like to congratulate Emily Ruppert on being selected as our Student of the Month for October! After high school, Emily plans on finishing her general education at Southwestern Illinois College then transferring to a four-year university to earn her Bachelor’s degree in elementary teaching. Emily’s current extracurricular activities include Fellowship of Christian Athletes, volleyball, basketball, softball, BETA Club, and Academic Club of Excellence She is pictured receiving her certificate from Murphy-Wall SVP/Internal Auditor Carrie Trail.
About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month honor at the beginning of the school year. Students were asked to submit up to a 500-word essay in application of this honor. Out of twenty-six applicants, twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. One of these twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Year and a $1000 scholarship. View Previous Student of the Month Seniors.
