Murphy-Wall State Bank Announces Caralin Numi and Katie Jackson as the October 2023 Students of the Month
Murphy-Wall State Bank and Trust Company would like to congratulate Caralin Numi and Katie Jackson for being selected as our Murphy-Wall Students of the Month for October!
After high school, Caralin plans on pursuing a degree in either the teaching or medical field. Caralin’s extracurricular activities such as Volleyball, Track, Softball, Beta Club, Panther Bakers, and FCCLA.
Katie plans to pursue dental hygiene at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Katie’s extracurricular activities include Cheerleading, Soccer, Beta Club, and numerous community service activities.

About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month and President’s Scholar honor at the beginning of the school year. Students were asked to submit up to a 500-word essay in application of this honor. Out of nineteen applicants, twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. One of these twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Year and a $1000 scholarship and one will receive the honor of President’s Scholar and a $1000 scholarship.
