Murphy-Wall State Bank would like to congratulate Karlee Reyes and Jalia Schoonover on being selected as our Murphy-Wall Students of the Month for January!
After high school, Karlee plans on completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at a four-year university and then attending medical school for her Doctor of Medicine degree. Karlee has enjoyed participating in several extracurricular activities throughout her high school career such as Youth and Government, FBLA, and BETA Club.
After high school, Jalia plans to attend dental school and one day open her own dental practice. Jalia has participated in many extracurriculars during high school such as Beta Club, Color Guard, POMs, and Million Words Club.

About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month and President’s Scholar honor at the beginning of the school year. Students were asked to submit up to a 500-word essay in application of this honor. Out of nineteen applicants, twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. One of these twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Year and a $1000 scholarship, and one will receive the honor of President’s Scholar and a $1000 scholarship.
